Bonded with the wonderful girls here in Phoenix today!
Got to drive the big ole 15 passenger van again.
Went down town and about blew away...way windy.

Walk through the hood...

AJ and I have been trying to get to know our new neighborhood better, with that comes many bike trips, walking trips and car trips.
  We have been challenged to pray while we walk,  amazing things run through your head when called to pray for the things you see.

 It's not all brown and ugly...

if you look up you will see the gorgeous sun and palm trees!!

We have been blessed that much is clear...
~ Beautiful fully furnished house.
~ Friends as excited as we are to work in PHX.
~ Answers to prayer-Finding ways to get involved in the neighborhood, via the community center.

Requests...
~ Continued opportunities to get involved in the community.
~ Stamina for the 3 weeks of Bible School coming up in June.
~ Connecting/bonding with Aim Right Staff.

Safe, sound, and in the dessert!

 

 So it has been 8 days since we pulled into this oasis in the dessert that we are beginning to call HOME!  Phoenix has welcomed us with sunny days and opened arms! 
 From people to unload our UHAUL to a home cooked meal in our fridge.  We have felt loved and wanted from day 1 :)

It's not home without a few cactus!
