purpose...

Last week at a weekly training meeting we were challenged to write down our purpose for being at Aim Right.  I have been going threw the daily motions and responsibilities of being an intern at Aim Right but have I thought about what my purpose is?
I have been working on getting my thoughts/purpose all on one concise paper and am realizing that is a lot harder than it sounds.  Yet it is very good to put your 'world' into perspective by creating a purpose statement.

My Purpose for Aim Right
   I purpose to establish godly relationships with Aim Right staff and kids.  To lead by example threw programs and one-on-one mentorship.  To make the best decisions for myself so that I will have the time and opportunity to help when asked or needed.
   I purpose to have my daily time with God.  That I might be able to use my life as an example at any time.  That I may be ready with an answer at anytime.
   I purpose to surrender my will to God.  I want to be open, honest, and BOLD daily/consistently.  I want to be used by God threw Aim Right Ministries and daily living.  I want to surrender my 'plan' daily to Him.
   I purpose to conscientiously make myself available for spiritual growth in myself and others thew Impact Groups, one-on-one mentorships, Good News Club, Kids Church, Skate Club.  I want to influence kids in a positive way with God's help.  I want to be able to speak the words they need to hear to provoke change.  I want the Jesus they see in me to be the change they are looking for...My purpose is that they (kids, teens, and parents) would see and know life is still worth living!

Do a deed of simple kindness,Though its end you may not see;
It may reach, like widening ripples,
Down a long eternity. --Norris
