VBS Week One

Week one of VBS is over and it was a great week!  For AJ and I it really helped us get to know the kids in the Sunnyslope area.  (this is the area Aim Right is hoping we can expand the ministry too)
After this week i now know why!  I have never encountered such blatant disrespect from kids/teens.  It did not help that they did not know us and we were the only ones in the van picking them up and dropping them off.
Relationships were made and in the end I really think this week was a huge stepping stone to our involvement here.  This verse has been running through my head and I think it may just become the theme for the year

^"All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other."

Each night the kids learned a new Character trait and put on the cross there goals, hurts/grudges, and things they were thankful for.
